The ordering service packages transactions into blocks and to be delivered to all the peers across the network, and the communication with the service is via channels. The ordering service and its configuration has to be included in the geneses block of the blockchain.
There are different configuration options for the ordering service include:
- SOLO, Single node for development
- Kafka: Crash fault-tolerant consensus
